RE: Well evaluation
what "prencible" stands for??
what is the purpose of your evaluation??
Is it a new well?
or an old well to be re-visit?
A lot to know before managing to help you.
thx
KK
RE: Well evaluation
Formation evaluation (ie the porosity, permeability, rock type, fluid type etc of a particular geological formation) which can lead on to a completion design.
Well production analysis (ie the review of long term production data, including production test and flowmeter data to determine the rate at which the well is producing, and what fluid it is produciong from which perforations) which can lead on to a well intervention design.
If you can tell us exactly what you're looking for more information on, Malkara, there are plenty of perople here who can offer their help!!
RE: Well evaluation
I was asked the eveluate a well that is at rest by the year 2000.
Data: Well depth:1166 m, has six perforations.... Also there was wax problem during production.
Sincerely yours...
RE: Well evaluation
You could sum up the previous well performance data, I mean pressure, temperature data, flow rates and all the condition of well flowing, gas lift if there is any, choke setting etc. You should also consider a chemical injection (wax Inhibitor)to prevent a serious wax formation for the wax issues o r set up new temperature on the topside to prevent the exaggerate wax formation.
With all the historical data, you could run an optimisation model (with your existing software??) base on the new performance you want. Your topside equipment will play an important role in the wax control and the well performance.
You mentioned that the well has 6 perf. I do not know if all of them are producing simultaneously or not. I presume your completion allows to select certain zones to be produced. If so you, could also go for an important Well test programme to select the most appropriate zones which will deliver the best for your well.
