Sanitary Sewer Lining Options

Sanitary Sewer Lining Options

(OP)
I have a client who is asking about two different sanitary sewer lining options for the initial lining of the pipe before it is cured in place with hot water/steam:

1. Lining by inserting a flexible tube inverted by water or air pressure
2. Lining by pulled-in-place flexible tube which is then inflated through water or air pressure

I've done option #1 a few times and know that it works well, but I have never done option #2 where it is pulled through.  Has anyone had experience with this (or preferably BOTH)- and if you have, can you attest as to whether option 2 is equal, better, or worse than option 1.  Thanks for your help!
