Info on UPS standard for testing, maintenance and replacement

Hello, i have had some problems finding standards on UPS devices, it seems neither IEEE or IEC or NEMA has any of these. Does any body know where to find them? i am trying to set a test lab for UPS devices and i need to follow some kind of standard in order to properly test these devices after they have arrived from the manufacturer. Hope somebody can help me out with this problem!!!

RE: Info on UPS standard for testing, maintenance and replacement

You don't say what country you are in: I'll assume the UPS are proprietary bought-in items.

Google is your friend! A quick search against "standards for UPS" got two immediately useful hits for European standard IEC/BS EN 62040-3:2001

From manufacturer Advance:
www.aelgroup.co.uk/pdf/wp_upsexplained.pdf

From manufacturer Merlin Gerin:
www.mgeups.com/techinfo/techpap/articles/0248-e.pdf

Happy hunting!
