Baselines (Primavera enterprise 5.0)

Baselines (Primavera enterprise 5.0)

(OP)
Hello!

We are struggling with a function of Primavera latest version in relation to BASELINES

The issue is that having a current project I save the baseline and:
1. Those activities not started (remaining work) do save the correct baseline dates and reflect the correct baseline bar, ie baseline bar equals planned bar.
2. For those activities already started, ie with actuals, the baseline bar is NOT saved as the "actual start - planned finish" and thus the current project is not identical to the baseline bar. It seems that it takes as baseline bar from the original project, ie what should have been the baseline if no actuals had been input.

This is a problem as we should be able to over-ride baselines at any moment.

This is easy in MS Project (which I use) but seems a problem in Primavera e/c 5.0 (which I have not used)

Thanks in forward!

Javier

My Dear Friend,
Do one thing if u have exported ur program before saving in base line import it to a new project make the necessary corrction to do. Then remove the earlier base line from the program. Add this program as ur base line
