Unigraphics on Solidworks 07 SP2.2
Unigraphics on Solidworks 07 SP2.2
(OP)
Hey,
Is there a way to import Unigraphics files into Solidworks 07 SP2.2, and have all the design features available for editing, rather than just a 'Solid' import?
Reason I ask is because I have taken over a project from another company who uses Unigraphics. They supplied .X_T Files, which are Parasolid files, but this only gives me the solid to work with, I cant change the features within.
Is there some other file format we can ask for, which will enable me to do full design work on the files. I need to change some of the features they did, as they were wrong.
Cheers

Crossing CAD systems like this while hoping to maintain original features typically cannot work. (It won't even work within older versions of SolidWorks importing parts created in newer versions.) But you can use the FeatureWorks tool to regain some of the features.

Problem is though, its crashing all the time. I am getting 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runlime Library' Runtime Error! Program: This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Any ideas?
