Horizontal Deflection of Non-Loadbearing Cantilever Partiion

(OP)
Can any one point me in the right direction as to where to find or some rational in setting a deflection limit for a non-loadbearing partition wall.  One key thing to this is the partition is hangng from the steel above.  The partition wll be framed with light-gage steel and sheathed will 5/8" gyp.  Thanks for the insight!!

RE: Horizontal Deflection of Non-Loadbearing Cantilever Partiion

isn't the critical thing the deflection of the steel support ?

RE: Horizontal Deflection of Non-Loadbearing Cantilever Partiion

(OP)
The deflection of the steel support is negligible.  The partition is being supported by large framing members.
