Tube Turns Catalog

Tube Turns Catalog

Tube Turns Catalog

Does any know where I can buy an old Tube Turns Catalog?

Thanks for your replies!

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

Powell's Books has some Tube Turn material
Powells .com
Most of the information in the catalog can be found elsewhere depending on your requirements.
Try to locate a "Seamless Welding Fittings Forged & Steel Flanges" catalog by Babcock & Wilcox
The B&W catalog is an equilavant to the Tube Turn
Very informative
Hope this points you in the right direction.

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

Whatcha willing to pay?

I'm pretty sure I've got 2 in storage along with other, what I would term vintage, catalogs that I've collected over the years.  I don't know off the top of my head when they were published only that they're hard back and in good condition.

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

One comes up from time to time on E-Bay

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

My bad MSanders...I dug though the attic last night and found my box-o-books.  What I actually have are two copies of Vogt's F-18 catalog and a variety of Crane valves and fittings catalogs, no Tube Turn catalog however.  Thinking back, the T-T catalog I did have developed legs and left my company about the time an office-mate took employment elsewhere many, many years ago.  A pressure vessel handbook vanished about that time as well.

Stevewag is righ; keep an eye on ebay.  I've see material like we're discussing come up for bid on occassion.

Sorry for offering false hope.

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

I'll sell you a kid, but not my hard-bound Tube Turns catalog.

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

I'm probably showing some inexperience here, but what the heck is a Tube Turns catalog? And before you chastise me know that I do have a Crane #53 on my bookshelf! :)

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

Tube Turn manufactured carbon and stainless steel fittings and flanges which included dimensions, weights, wall thicknesses, etc etc.
The Babcock & Wilcox that I listed in my previous response ("Seamless Welding Fittings Forged & Steel Flanges" catalog by Babcock & Wilcox) is an equilavant to the Tube Turn

RE: Tube Turns Catalog

Tube-Turns used to be a company, now it is a division of Sypris Technologies They still make some really cool engineered products (I particularly like their Y-Yoke Pig-trap closure, http://www.tubeturns.com/technology/content.asp?page_id=104).  The catalog has most standard pipeline fittings with weights and dimensions.  It was a lot more useful before I got CadWorx, but I still use it from time to time.
