Macro to delete Macro

Macro to delete Macro

(OP)
Hi don’t know if you will be able to help but….

We currently have Inventor 10 running on 9 machines …Orginal IT Boss wrote a macro to automatically save a pdf of a drawing to a specific folder on a specific server and attached the macro to our standard drawing template..

By now you may have guessed the problem but will explain in more detail.

We have now moved a lot of data around and replaced servers but now need to replace the old nt 4.0 server which is currently where the macro saves the pdf drawings to.  Because the macro was attached to the template it is now also in every .idw drawing aswell.

I was hopping to use a batch edit add in to run a new macro across all .idw files which would open the drawing run new macro to delete old macro from within drawing and then save.

Currentley have no idea on how to write the macro to delete a macro.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Zeus1972

"Because the macro was attached to the template it is now also in every .idw drawing aswell."

Some things are best done as Add-Ins so this doesn't happen.

Can't help with your problem, but you could also try the Autodesk Inventor forum, or Sean Dotsons web site.
