Excell table transfer to Autocad

Excell table transfer to Autocad

(OP)
Hi,
I am having trouble when I paste a table of calculations from excell.  I use the "paste special/ as autocad entity" comand.  But each table I bring in and paste, has a different size.  I then have to scale them with difficulty to make them look same size.  This method of pasting works good for my plotting quality, thats why I use it instead of regular cut and paste.  But with multiple tables it is hard. Any advise?

Thanks

RE: Excell table transfer to Autocad

I used to export my spreadsheet to a tab delimited text file, then import that as text. I could then choose my text height etc. Google for a lsp file called shatter.lsp', to break each line into individual words(cells) then I could move columns as well.

Hope that helps!

Try inserting an OLE object selecting an Excel worksheet.
