Finding the size of a curve

Finding the size of a curve

Finding the size of a curve

(OP)
Hi, Ive created a curve from a series of imported points in the shape of an aerofoil. Is there anyway I can find the exact size of the curve in each direction - ie xmin xmax ymin ymax - and store these as an expression?

Thanks.

RE: Finding the size of a curve

Try using a datum plane, 3 point method on the spline. This will be the z datum. Then orient your wcs to the z datum and create 2 more: x and y. Then you can measure using these datums.
Good luck,
'ziner
