Waste Gas Burner Setbacks

Waste Gas Burner Setbacks

Waste Gas Burner Setbacks

(OP)
We are doing a WWTP in Idaho with a waste gas burner.  We are trying to find setback requirements for the waste gas burner which will be an enclosed flare.  ie, setback from property lines, buildings, roadways, etc.  If anyone has this information or knows where to obtain it, could you please let me know?

Thanks,

RE: Waste Gas Burner Setbacks

Local ordinances only apply.  Height should be above adjacent structures and set back greater than height is a good rule of thumb.

Than-you, here in Canada we use the Canadian Gas code which dictates this type of information and I thought there might be an equivalent in the US.  In the US we generally use NFPA and the Great Lakes, Upper Mississippi Board of State and Public Health and Environment Recommended Standards for Wastewater Facilities, but these do not have this type of information.
