I'm currently trying to format my hard drive and I was wonder if someone could tell me how to. Its been awhile since i've done anything like this! thanxs

RE: Formating hard drive

Hi,

1. Make sure you back up the data because once formatted theres no going back
2. Make a bootable floppy & make sure the FDISK and FORMAT commands are copied on it from C;\Windows\command\
3. Boot up from your floppy and if required run FDISK to partition your hard drive.
4. After FDISK then type Format C: /u/s
(This does an uncondtional format can copies the system files)
5. Then load your OS.

Now although these instruction will get you through they do assume you lnow a thing or two.
If you can't make head nor tail of them then look at the following links for info
