Voltage trasnformer connection to busbar
Voltage trasnformer connection to busbar
(OP)
Hello. On site i have one generator terminal enclosure with Voltage transformers on the line side of the generator. The primary of these VT's are connected to the busbars by special cables (the cables have red insulation outer sheath and aluminuim wires inside). Apart from that i dont have any more specs. The manufacturer of the enclosure is too far from our site. So i like to ask your opinion if these cables are special ones and if you can provide any details for where to purchase them. The ration of VT are 15750/120 V, 200VA, Class 0.2

I suppose that they have similar properties like silicon cables...

You can get to half the known engineering world through Eng-Tips and you can't get to the manufacturer? Amazing!

normally there are not supposed to touch any metal part and neither themself. (other wise on the long run you will get tracking....and maybe surprise lol)
normally they use fiber support to pass them thru
the red color is to designate them ase temporary jumper...but everybody use the as permanent
