Is it safe to open and work on the same proe file with different versions of proe (e.g. one site @ m010 and another site @ m040)?

"I would say you are safe but I would find out what the differences are between the two builds.....making sure their are no major chances." This is the problem I dont know how to find this out :)

As far as I know there is no problem exchanging files between different cuts of the same version of Pro/E.

The advisor is a good place to start if you are seeing problems.
I have users on 4 builds of WF2, as I try to bring everyone up to newer builds.

Stick with the same datecode if possible. It will save you much headache and pain.
