Pressure regulator design

Pressure regulator design

Pressure regulator design

(OP)
Does anyone know where I can find a reference about pressure control and gas pressure regulator design. The general fluid dynamics and control book only talk about basic fundamentals. However I am looking for something that has industry practices covered as well. Some thing equivalent to machineries handbook.

Thank you in advance

PS. I have asked this question in valve engineering forum and it did not produce any thing detailed.

RE: Pressure regulator design

Cashco provides a pressure regulator primer.  You may find your rep at www.cashco.com and ask about the primer.  I don't have a copy but the primer could be basic.  Your Fisher representative could provide lots of information too.

Pressure regulators are proportional only devices. Pressure reducing regulators control changes to the outlet; back pressure regulators respond to changes at the inlet.  The offset is a function of the regulator capacity.
