Rubber selection guide

Rubber selection guide

Rubber selection guide

(OP)
Does anyone know of a good in depth rubber selection guide?  I started with a new company and they want to give a guide about the different elastomers to their sales reps.  We are mainly in the food packaging industry and medical.  Currently the people here have only run silicone and that is about as far as there elastomer knowledge goes.  Just hoping for some help.

Thanks

Greg

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE GUIDE FOR ELASTOMERS II

Written and researched by Kenneth M. Pruett
Published by Compass Publications
PO Box 2276
La Mesa, CA 91943

My copy is copyrighted in 194 so I'm guessing they probably have an updated book.

It is a 400 page book of tables of compatibility for 35 different polymers and thousands of chemicals.

Our company (TSE Industries) has a chart that compares the "Physical Properties of Elastomer Compounds". It's on our download page (http://www.tse-industries.com/CatalogDownloadPage.asp), wwhich will make you register before you can access it, but it's an easy registration.

RE: Rubber selection guide

I am looking for bioinert, and biocompatible rubbers that are not degraded by prolonged blood contact or repeated stretching and contraction. A shoping list to do further research on would be of immense help. Thank You. CardioValco
