Another Grip Question

Another Grip Question

Another Grip Question

(OP)
I have a load of entites on a dawing format which are in a named group.  How do I get them into a object list so that i can manipulate them as a group?

(must have killed to many brin cells over xmas!!!)

Cheers in Advnace,

P.............

RE: Another Grip Question

First you have to find the named groups so you have to cycle the database with the command MASK/15 set as that will only allow groups to be selected.  As you cycle you can check for the desired name using the &NAME command and then once you have the named group, you use the &GENT command to extract the members of the group.

That should get you started in the right direction.
