Weld between steel & bronze

Weld between steel & bronze

Weld between steel & bronze

(OP)
I have a bronze sculpture to anchor onto a concrete base.
The sculpture weighs about 3000 lbs with 10 ft height.
Is it possible to weld bronze material to steel plates embedded in concrete? Is there any other common way to secure sculptures?

Thanks,

RE: Weld between steel & bronze

I think putting the bronze in contact with the steel has corrosion potential. You may want to research this before you connect them in any way.

Maybe go to materials engineers forum.
