Translucent Datums

Translucent Datums

(OP)
Is it possible to turn off the translucent effect on datum planes, to make them clear like they were in prior releases?

I have to keep blanking them so I can see my part without looking thru the "fog".

Thanks

RE: Translucent Datums

You can set this in either Customer Defaults or Preferences.

In Customer Defaults, go to the Gateway -> Visualization -> Performance and check the option labeled 'Disable Plane Translucency'.  Or Preferences -> Visualization Performance... and check the option labeled 'Disable Plane Translucency'.

I tried the "Preferences > Disable Plane Translucency" and "Disable Translucency", but the Datums are still translucent. Can't find "Customer Defaults". Where is it?

Thanks

RE: Translucent Datums

Go to Preferences->Visualization Performance and then check the option labeled "Disable Plane Translucency" and that should do it.

Customer Default can be found at File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults...
