welding notation

(OP)
Can someone give me a link or pdf of a crash course on how to put welding notation on structural detail?  I want to do stitch welding and I am not so sure the proper way to label it.  I can only understand the symbol a little bit from AISC LRFD (the flag, arrow, box, <, etc.) but it is not very clear.  Is there a welding detailing for dummies somewhere smile ?

RE: welding notation

Blodgett has some good information on welding symbols, along with the wealth of information in the rest of his Design of Welded Structures.  At $15 new it is a good investment.

MadMango put up my link before I got to it smile.
