Hello, I'm a new SW user (occassional).  I've defined global variables to drive dimensions, but can I input a global variable as a parameter?  For example, let "Spiral_Pitch" = 1.  The Helix/Spiral PropertyManager won't let me enter anything other than a number for the pitch parameter.  I don't see this issue discussed in the Help.

RE: variable parameter

Use euqations for this.  Look up equationsin the help.  You may also want to look into linked values.  These are different from equations and can control multiple parameters at once.

Thanks, TheTick.  I was able to accomplish what I needed by deleting all my equations and using them in a design table.
