Engineers Estimate

Engineers Estimate

(OP)
Can anyone suggest software that can help in the preparation of engineers estimates for civil construction projects?
Our company has collected and continues to collect quit a bit of bid data that we can use in estimating new projects, but it's not organized well, we now just browse through a book of bid tabs and try to find a similar recent project.

For example, I'd like to set up a database where I'd be able to look up the item "15-in RCP Class III" and have the program return the min, max, average, median, etc.., bid price for that item for the a given time period, and maybe for a given size of job.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
