How to save captured images with sequential name files?

How to save captured images with sequential name files?

How to save captured images with sequential name files?

(OP)
Is there anyway to use an incremented variable on the name of a saved image file with APDL? For example, I have a simple loop with i_ as being the increment variable.

i_=1
*DO,i_,1,180,1
/IMAGE,SAVE,i_,bmp
/ANG,1,-1,YS,1
/REP,FAST
i_=i_+1
*ENDDO

However, everytime the saved file is i_ and not the i_ 'value'.
Thanks in advance!

RE: How to save captured images with sequential name files?

Hi,

You must say to Ansys, that it should use the value of i an not the character i:

/image,save,strcat(chrval(i),'_'),bmp

Regards,
Alex
