UG NX3 Open Part File question

UG NX3 Open Part File question

UG NX3 Open Part File question

(OP)
This is a minor annoyance that has finally bothered me to the point of asking for some tips.

When using the "Open Part File" dialog window, all the files are shown in "list" format (see view menu button). I would like the files to be displayed in "detailed" format so I can sort the files by name, date, etc.

I thought that maybe UG was pulling the view type from the windows settings but all my folders are set to "detailed".
I did not see a way to change this under the Customer Defaults dialog but maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing.

Thanks

RE: UG NX3 Open Part File question

I second your question. And to add onto this: Depending on the menu and the operation (open, save, import, export file) the dimensions of the listbox change.

An addition of one's preferences to the customer defaults would be great, but I'm affraid UG will not bother because they assume everybody uses file management.
