Hydrology Book
Hydrology Book
(OP)
What is a really good book to learn hydrology from.
I am familiar with using plenty of software environments
to create hydrology information...but I don't have
a clue if that information is correct or not (Im sure it is, but I would like to know why). I would like to know enough about hydrology to be able to determine if the model and calculations seem to be right.

RE: Hydrology Book
For quick learning, an easy and free study guide are the Corps manuals for HEC-1 & HEC-HMS. These manuals can be downloaded from: http://www.hec.usace.army.mil/publications/pubs_distrib/index.html
Also most government agencies criteria manual tends to have a decent amount of basic hydrology principals in them.

The Soil Conservstion Service (SCS) National Engineering Handbook. Section 4 HYDROLOGY.
