Plastic-damaged model

Plastic-damaged model

(OP)
Regarding the damaged plasticity model, I am just wondering how the shear capacity of the cracked concrete is treated.

For example, smeared crack model and brittle crack model in ABAQUS use the shear retention factor to consider the shear resistance of cracked concrete. On the other hand, in the damaged plasticity model, there is no option for the
shear resistance of cracked concrete.

Could you please let me know how the model works for shear stress-strain relationship of cracked element in damaged plasticity model?

Best regards,
