Heated storage tank emissions

Heated storage tank emissions

Heated storage tank emissions

(OP)
Is there a way to adapt the storage tank emissions in AP-42 Ch 7.1 for a tank with heated liquid?
The tank is a vertical fixed roof and will contain molten benzoic acid at about 140 deg F.
Would you just use the 140 for the bulk liqud temperature instead of calculating it off of ambient temperature conditions?

Thanks.

RE: Heated storage tank emissions

That would be a good start.  If you know the TVP at the storage temperature you can verify that the calculations are correct.  Download the Tanks software from the EPA web site, read the instructions and go.  You should get acceptable results.
