Hello

We have an high pressure line with Td= 510°c.
The material is P11.

Can we install a horizontal dummy?

Tim

RE: high pressure steam

Hi Tim,

I think the community is having difficulty completely understanding your question.  Perhaps you could restate your question?

One issue is using ASTM A-335, Gr. P11 low alloy steel at the stated temperature.  You should look at the B31.1 Code (or your "Code of record") for guidance.

Regards, John.

RE: high pressure steam

what does a sleeping executive have to do with P11 pipe?

RE: high pressure steam

LOL. The service temperature of 510 deg C (950 deg F) is about at the maximum I would use for seamless, Grade P11 pipe material.
