Animation with ACAD

Animation with ACAD

Animation with ACAD

(OP)
Has anyone been successful at animating drawn objects in 2D. I am not referring to the ORBIT commands and its related options used in 3D.
A couple of years ago someone had shown me some minor animation that he had learned in high school but afterward the computer program was messed up and we had to reload ACAD.
I am trying to show a tank initially filled with a solution, having an inflow of water and a dicharge of the solution which in time is being diluted.  During that same period of time the content in the tank is either incresing or decreasing depending on the flow rates in and out of the tank.

You can make a SLIDE show.

RE: Animation with ACAD

You can generate a script file in AutoCAD that will help in executing commands, that will help you to animate.

Alternatively, if your objective or case is clearly fixed, then you can capture the object as images at different time interval and then run these image file together, using software as Animation Shop pro (that comes along with Paint Shop Pro).

I have done similar kind of animation for showing the ports filling fuel which is linked to rotor rotation in a Hydraullic head of a Mechanical Fuel Injection Pump

Hope this is of some help to you,
