Anyone know how to import stl files and convert to solid bodies to do some CAM?

In NX 4 there has been an enhancement made to the 'Refit Face' function that will allow you to select a faceted body as a target to fit a face to.  This can be used as a limited type of 'reverse engineering' function to convert shapes that are presented in a facetted format into a free-form surface.
