Threaded holes on a part with pocket

Threaded holes on a part with pocket

(OP)
Part with pocket, threaded blind holes are on the opposite side of the pocket. Holes go thru where the pocket is placed. In a drafting module I see threads coming out where pocket is. Is there some setting I can set so it does not show length of threads if they go thru?

RE: Threaded holes on a part with pocket

I don't believe there is a way to auto trim the cosmetic thread but they can be trimmed manually.  You'll probably want to copy the exit face of the part using the Fill Holes option to use as the trimming object.

RE: Threaded holes on a part with pocket

(OP)
I did not put cosmetic thread, thread is existing within the hole (from Pro/E options).

RE: Threaded holes on a part with pocket

That is equivalent to a cosmetic thread and can be trimmed.
