EGT vs. A/F ratio for Two-stroke engines

EGT vs. A/F ratio for Two-stroke engines

EGT vs. A/F ratio for Two-stroke engines

(OP)
Ref: thread71-90282

Above thread touches on the relationship, but also adds some confusion.

Going from very rich to very lean: what would the curve look like for EGT vs. A/F ratio for a two-stroke engine?

In simplistic terms, would it be increasing or would it be bell-shaped with the peak at/near stoichiometric combustion point?

Thanks for all input,
Vince

RE: EGT vs. A/F ratio for Two-stroke engines

Vince,

It is a bell shaped curve, with the peak point rich of stoich.
