Exporting Dimensions issue?

Exporting Dimensions issue?

Exporting Dimensions issue?

(OP)
I have created a macro that exporting selected dimensions from a drawing and places the dimensions in a access database table. The issue is when i open the said table the dimensions that populated the table are incorrect but not by much.

for instance if the dimension i export is .375 the dimension that is exported is .37499991256

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

RE: Exporting Dimensions issue?

Are you sure the exported dimensions are whole, and not being rounded by the accuracy settings in SW?

i have ran this macro before the only difference was i was exporting to an excell sheet.

where do i change the accuracy settings?

RE: Exporting Dimensions issue?

You can't adjust the actual modeling accuracy, only the display settings.  If the part was modeled at .37499991256, that is what will be exported.  If the model was created at .37500000000, that should be what exports.

You were correct.

The model i was using to check the design was not accurate.
