WOVEN FABRIC IN RUBBER

WOVEN FABRIC IN RUBBER

WOVEN FABRIC IN RUBBER

(OP)
Does anyone have successful experinece analyzing woven fabric in rubber in a rolling application. The rubber part is easy but fabric is another animal. Any thoughts?

RE: WOVEN FABRIC IN RUBBER

Maybe your software has an element that would typically be used for modeling concrete/rebar structures that supports the material models you need for your analysis.  In your case the rubber would be analagous to concrete and the fiber to the rebar.  Just a thought.  Or you could model them explicitly.
