(OP)
I am looking for design references for augered cast in place piers (Caissons).

The contractor wants to drill 14” piers/caissons through sand to support a 2 story structure. No geotechnical information available.

Thanks

I'd get some.

A good geotech will provide you with design criteria for determining the proper depth and diameter of the ACP's.

Without it you are placing yourself at risk.

RE: Augered Cast-in-place Piers

Deep foundation without geotechnical data = very bad idea.

Get a geotechnical exploration and report, then proceed.

Definitely, you need a geotech!!
