Aluminium Extrusion Diametrical Tolerance.

Aluminium Extrusion Diametrical Tolerance.

(OP)
Hi all, does someone have experience of achievable tolerances for Aluminium Extrusion? My supplier is offering a tolerance range of 1mm on a Ø25.5 and 1.5mm on a Ø51.25. I believe that  for a < Ø30 + or - 0.30mm is achievable and and < Ø51 +/- 0.40mm is not out of the question according to some literature that I have. Could anyone shed some light on which is more achievable please.

Regards,

It is a rectangular external profile shape with the diameter extruded through the middle. Difficult to explain without the drawing. I have seen far more complicated extrusions around though. Basically....

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxx                xxxxxxxx
xxxxxxx                xxxxxxxx
xxxxxx                  xxxxxxx
xxxxx                    xxxxxx
xxxx                      xxxxx
xxx   <--diameter-->        xxx
xxxx                       xxxx
xxxxx                     xxxxx
xxxxxx                   xxxxxx
xxxxxxx                 xxxxxxx

Flash draghtsmans skill there!
