Any one know where I can get detailed information on design of radial diffusers, vaned and vaneless?

RE: radial diffuser

Is this for a centrifugal compressor?

RE: radial diffuser

(OP)
Fredt: No. This is for a tabletop wind tunnel. An axial fan will drive it. The exhaust will exit through the diffuser if I can get the exit velocity to be low enough to not trouble people in the room or ruffle papers.

RE: radial diffuser

Look for some Heating, Ventilation and  Air Conditioning (HVAC) theory on this.

The American Society of Heatibg Refigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) reference tomes would be a good start.   See any ME or Eng. library.

Air Conditioning equipment manufacturers literature on diffuser selection could be immediately useful.
