Nachi robot capacity

Nachi robot capacity

(OP)
My plant has a Nachi SA160F-01 robot in house, we are reviewing the process (spot welding) for the purpose of cycle time reduction.  One suggestion is to mount 2 weld guns on the EOAT, the welds are symetrical about the center line of the part.  I am assuming the capacity of the robot to be 160kg, what I don't know is if I have to de-rate it based on distance and or velocity.

RE: Nachi robot capacity

I would ask the manufacturer.

Take a look at:
http://www.used-robots.com/howto.htm

It has some application tips, suggestions and guidence.
