(OP)
rrk137's post of mysterious hum, I have experienced the same low frequency hum since August of 2003. It seems it is more intense in frequency in the very early morning hours after midnight...and subsides in the mornings but lately it has also been going on during the afternoon and days...If i press my ear up the walls in my home I can not hear it...If I go outside I can not hear it....But in my home it is loud and it seems to be more of a vibration because it can be heard in my head. I have told a few people but i think they look at me sorta strange like you're nuts. I got my blood pressure checked because I thought maybe it was me...When I am away from my home though, I am fine and I do not seem to have the problem with this mysterious hum? I just wanted RRK137 to know that I have the same questions and believe this is the same phenomenon.
