(OP)
I need to find away to be able to get the surface area from certain surfaces on parts in an assembly. This would be used for costing of spray finish for estimatation. Since not all surfaces on the entire parts get sprayed I'd like to be able to just select the ones I need and add them up somehow.

RE: Get area from multiple selected surfaces in assembly

hi cdevill,
You will have to use a bit of manual calculation here.
Go to Inspect > Inquire Element, then set the element type filter to surfaces.
As you click each surface you should see various measurements and information about the surface.
Yoa can copy and paste this information from the window into a spreadsheet.
