lead joint wall castings

(OP)
In the rehabilitation of an older existing WWTP we have located some lead joint wall castings. These castings were thought to be MJ, but turned out that they were lead joint. Does anybody know of a way that the existing bell of the wall casting that recieved the lead joint can be converted into a modern day push on style joint? Is there any new modern day gaskets that can be used between new DI pipe and the bell of the existing wall casting so we do not have to reinstall the pipes with lead joints? Is my only option to remove these older style wall castings and reinstall new?
