UPS SYSTEM EMC STANDARD IN THE US

UPS SYSTEM EMC STANDARD IN THE US

(OP)
Does anyone know which NEMA, ANSI, IEEE or UL standard applies to UPS system design that covers EMC requirements in the US.  In the IEC there is 62040-2, but does the US have one?

RE: UPS SYSTEM EMC STANDARD IN THE US

IEEE C62.48 covers the "Interactions Between Power System Disturbances and Surge-Protective Devices".

Several Process Industry Practices address UPS systems for ferroresonant, PWM UPS.

UL 1778 covers safety UPS.
