(OP)
Hi,

I have been using the DC3 motor/drive block (from the SimPowerSystems library) to simulate 2 DC motors (1 in speed reference, 1 in torque reference) mechanically connected (via a gea box) to a shared load.

I have managed to simulate this when the motors share the load equally (shaft speeds are equal).

The load I am modeling is not shared entirely equally. If I apply 55% of the load to 1 and 45% to the other, the shaft speeds are different. The motor in torque control is not what it should be.

As the shafts of the motors I am simulating are mechanically connected, the shaft speed must be equal.

Can I use the DC3 block for this purpose?
