booleans operation not moving tool body under main part body

booleans operation not moving tool body under main part body

(OP)
I am using Booleans for adding and subtracting tool solids from my main part body and it is not moving the tool body under the boolean operation. I think this has something to do with hybred design. Does anyone know and is there a way to fix this.

Thanks,
Vetteflc

RE: booleans operation not moving tool body under main part body

You are right, it´s because one of the bodies is a hybrid body and the other one isn´t. Unfortunately there is no way to quickly solve this... Before it´s too late, re-create your geometry with all the bodies either hybrid or non-hybrid. The mixture of the two always makes trouble...
