I have a drawing of a part, that cannot show an alternate position, it's not a section, broken or detail view. I created a new drawing, dragged the part on it and saw the problem... Any suggestions?

RE: Alternate position view

Alternate position views are only for assemblies.  If you want to show two configurations of a part you'll have to create a new assembly, add that part, create a new config of that assembly, and change the referenced config of the part in the assembly.

RE: Alternate position view

SW version and SP?
Do the configs behave properly within the model?
Can you create views of the individual configs in the drawings correctly?
Do you have this problem with other models?
Can you check the problem model on another PC?

cheers
