Miniature pressure vessels supplier

Dear members

I am looking for a company who can supply miniature pressure vessel (cylinder). Does any know of such company? By Miniature I mean around the 300 to 600 ml volume and pressures of up to 16 bar.

Thank you

Look in your Swagelok catalog for "sample cylinders".

Where are you?

Try Flowguard Ltd in the UK (+44 1663 745976)

If I'm not mistaken, being under 6" diameter exempts vessels from ASME stamping in the first place, so you're not necessarily looking at "Miniature Pressure Vessels" as defined by the code.

Luxfer make cylinders that sort of size in pressure ratings up to 300 bar WP.

I have been in similar situations and I simply had a shop fabricate a vessel out of a piece of pipe with some pipe caps.  Given the small size and low pressure I did not even require them to stamp it as a pressure vessel...which cut the cost.  Having it fabbed in a shop also allowed me to add the end connections I wanted.

Try: steamequip.com or generalboiler.com
for Code or Non-Code miniature vessels

I've did the same as ggrindle, I fabricate it myself by using a XXS pipe and caps (50 bar, 15" long x 4" diameter) and they were used as a sealing pot for instruments tubing.

Thanks all for your input. I have a few options which I can follow-up on.
