NX3 Sheet Metal

NX3 Sheet Metal

(OP)
Can any one answer some specific questions.

1.) 2D wireframe "Flat pattern". Is this still in UG? Our MACH3 license does NOT have this function. I understand NX#3 has changed Sheet Metal significantly. I do not want a flat model. 2d wireframe.
2.) Our client believes that if you didn't model your parts using Sheet Metal functionality you are unable to create a flat pattern. (I believe this to be false!) i.e primitive modeling or sketch then extruding...
I've looked up on UG Help! on my computer, to my suprise it tells me to go to TOOLS:Flat_Pattern, then describes just how I remembered how I used to create a flat_pattern. But when I go throught either Applications:Modeling or Sheet Metal its not there. Can anyone help!

Thanks,
Tony
