When I use the shell option from the insert pull-down it doesn't work?? it gives me a message in the message box Please check "Utilities->Floating Modules" or visit blah blah blah..how can I get shell to work?? thanks for any advice

The shell command is a standard feature of the ProE Foundation package. Try the shell command through the Menu Manager windows (right side), select Feature, Create, Shell.
