moving logix key?

moving logix key?

moving logix key?

(OP)
I know, know, "a friend of mine" gaveme a key disk and used the key on my home desktop when I should have put it on my laptop. when I try to move the activation back to the A drive it says activation code not found? I could use my deskyop but it costs too mush for a pci card and i have a pcmcia card in my laptop. any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: moving logix key?

are you using evmove to move from c: to a:?

RE: moving logix key?

First off, does the program run on your desktop. This will verify that the activation is indeed on your desktop. I'll assume you've verified this. Here are some possibles that would cause this:
·    The activation file does not exist.
·    The operating system is preventing the file from being opened for reading.  Check that you have read privileges to the file.
·    The Vendor Identification value for the file being read is not compatible with this version of EvMove and Reset.
·    The activation file header version does not match the filename.
Have you tried Reset?
Note:Always contact Rockwell Software Technical Support when resetting an activation file.  Entering incorrect reset codes could render your Master Disk unusable.

Call Technical Support:440-646-7800 or go online. They will give you a reset code. Must supply SN# or customer #
