Painting specific area for illustration purpose
Painting specific area for illustration purpose
(OP)
Hello,
I'm modeling electrical components using pro/e 2000i^2, I want to illustrate the leads that are part of SMT components specifically.
what I'm trying to ask is how can I paint ,say a circle in gray that is found on a black surface. the circle diameter should be parameter driven (i.e the painted zone can be changed).
I tried decals with no success and I want to avoid using protrusion or creating surface.
I apologize for my English.
Asi.

can I do it in pro/e 2000i^2? or is it a feature of WF.
I know I can project a curve on a surface but I need to paint it in part&assembly mode can this be done?
Thank you all, this is a greate forum : )
